TEXT:   1PETER 1:13-21.

Living a holy life is one of the fundamental requirements of a Christian; it is the nature of God. In verse 15 it says but as he which called you his Holy so be holy in all manner of conversation. It means holiness cut across all aspects of Christian life.

From the scripture we have read the Lord gave us several commands which holiness is one of the key commands. We were instructed to gird up our lions which means we should brace up and take courage in the face of trials, to live soberly (Tit 2:1-12), living a new life, to love one another with a pure heart fervently and be holy in all manner of life.

The treasures of God can only flow through us when live a holy life.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to live a holy life so that your desire for my life will be fulfilled.
