TEXT:   ROMANS 1:1-17

The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Rome here presents the facts about Jesus Christ who is the saviour of the whole world. He is the way for salvation for everyone who believes no discrimination. Salvation is offered for free to all who return unto the father in repentance. There is always hope for a repentant son who had left the father and realizes afterwards. The story of the prodigal son we saw yesterday is an example. There are steps that need to be considered or followed, one, the young man came to his senses after he had suffered enough. Two, he made up his mind to return home, having remembered how even hired servants had more than enough in his father’s house.

Some of us run to some gods seeking for help where there is no help, like the young man thought that he was going to enjoy but ended in suffering that’s what will befall such kind of people. The good news however, is there is always hope for the hopeless. No matter how far you have gone, it is not too late to return to the Lord in repentance, Jesus is calling you today, if only you will answer, he will restore to you all that you have lost.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins today, and ask that you restore me to my original place in your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord.
