TEXT: MATTHEW 13:24-29
Every farmer prepares the land, plant and nurtures his crops by way of providing nutrients artificially to supplement that in the soil. He also removes the unwanted plants called weeds which do not only compete with the crop for space, water and nutrients but can harbour pests and disease. The wheat represents children of God among and around who are tares or weed who are unbelievers. Unlike the earthly farmer, God allow both His followers and those not following Him to thrive. He shower rain on everyone, make provision for all that is required to live a successful life including for all that is required to live a successful life including making the gospel readily available since He doesn’t want anyone to perish. However, the ultimate will occur since there is time for everything under heaven (Ecc 13:1-8) and the owner of the soul will require of it. Man will either die or be raptured. After death, it is judgment when those who accepted and served God faithfully will be received into heaven and the ungodly cast into hell fire!
Are you wheat or a tare? God is not mocked, whatever a man sows, same shall he reap,
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I surrender myself totally to You, take away my life and let me live according to Your plan and purpose for me for I want to make it to heaven at last. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.
