TEXT:   LUKE 20:17-25

In spite of the fact that Jesus came to reconcile man to God, even at a tender age, He was hunted by His enemy and had to be taken to Egypt (Matt 2:13-15). He grew up among His people and yet series of plots were made to get him trapped so that He can be humiliated. This is an outright display of human ignorance of who Jesus is because to date some still don’t honour His Lordship to their detriment, because as recorded in verses 17 and 18 of our text whosever falls on the rejected “stone” or on whosoever the “stone” falls cannot survive the calamity.

Is it then, not a wise thing to accept Jesus as your personal savior and never be His enemy? Think of this and amend your ways. Irrespective of how far you may think you have gone in sin, He is ready to accept you. Make a friend with Him today because He alone can give what your blood relations can never give.

PRAYER: I am ready to give my life to you Jesus and never to be your enemy again. Accept me by your mercy. Amen.
