TEXT: 1PETER 1:1-11
What is an entrance? This refers to the way in an access door into a place, Jesus said ‘I am the door: by me if any man enters, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture.’ (John 10:9). This great and abundant entrance is made possible by the mercy of God, it is not constricted by human works but is available because of the abundant mercies by which we have been begotten again unto a lively hope, ‘For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.’ There has been made for me an abundant entrance by the Lord’s invitation ‘Now go to the main streets and invite to the feast as many people as you find’ (Matt 22:9, GNT), but we must take note ‘And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last’ ‘O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!’ (Rom 11:33a)
PRAYER: Lord, seeing your great and abundant entrance in Jesus Christ may I not miss out on this entrance in Jesus’ Name
