TEXT: LUKE 17:20-25
God’s kingdom lives inside of us. The Pharisees, made a demand to know the exact time when the kingdom of God will come. ‘Jews want miracles for proof and Greeks look for wisdom as for us, we proclaim the crucified Christ’ (1Cor 1:22-23a), ‘and we know that our old being has been put to death with Christ on the cross…’ (Rom 6:6a). They wanted a description and features of God’s kingdom but Jesus told them boldly, the kingdom of God cometh not with observations (v. 20), it is not something physical. You cannot see it physically, is not in a location but God’s kingdom is inside of you. And ‘Since all these things will be, what kind of people should you be? Your lives should be holy and dedicated to God (2Pet 3:11, GNT)
PRAYER: Lord, help me to live a life holy and dedicated to you seeing that your kingdom is within me may I not misrepresent your kingdom in Jesus’ name
