CHRIST AND THE KINGDOM

TEXT:   LUKE 13: 22- 30, 34 – 35

Jesus desires that all men and women, children and adults, boys and girls on the surface of this earth are saved. That is why He went through the towns and villages, teaching as He made His way to Jerusalem. But you need to make a deliberate effort to enter into the kingdom of God ‘strive to enter through…’ (vs24). His kingdom is not about eating and drinking, ‘it is righteousness, and peace and joy ……’ (Rom 14:17). Those that will enter into this kingdom are not evildoers, sinners, fornicators, liars, robbers. What will throw you out of God’s kingdom is your evil deeds, the Father will say “I don’t know you, you workers of iniquities. Because you didn’t make any effort the Lord will say, I don’t know you. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The door that opens for men to enter is narrow, not wide; it is not an expressway. Whosoever wants to enter into God’s kingdom must restrain his / her life to this narrow door.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to strive to enter through the narrow door that leads to life in Jesus name. Amen.
