TEXT-  IJOHN 4:20-24

      Till today the place of worship is very important to some people just as it was in the day of Jesus. The motive behind a particular place of worship by then, may not be the same with that of today.

The answer given to the woman’s questions meant that, salvation comes through the Jewish race the whole earth would be blessed (Gen 12:3). But to Jesus, the location of worship is not as important as the attitude of the worshipers. Christ said “But the time is coming- indeed it’s here now- when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and in truth, v 23 (NLT). Today is another day of general worship with what mind are you going- Who are you going to worship? Your pastor, prophet, teacher or meeting with your friends? You are expected to worship only your God the creator in truth and Spirit.

Your (God’s) name is a strong tower the righteous man runs to it and safe. As you are going for Sunday Service today His name will scatter all your enemies as you call upon His name. only to him you should run to not to any human being.

PRAYER: Lord, let my worship today be acceptable in your sight
