TEXT: LUKE 12:13-15
Being a living soul today is not as a result of your riches yet depending on another’s property is very dangerous in life. Such act relying on after prosperities lead to laziness, covetousness and according to our text, we may say the man was asking for his right but he was not the one who worked for it. Not only that, where he was asking Jesus to help him collect his own inheritance was a wrong and it shows that he actually depends or rely on another man’s labor. Today, because of the inheritance many children have killed their parent because of the property of their parent.
Jesus Christ is concerned about our life not based on richness but in Christ. Whoever have Christ, have life. Therefore it is very important to struggle for life in Christ and not in abundance of things possessed. The word of God says seek the kingdom of God first and other things will be handed over to you. Matt 6:33
PRAYER: God help me to always rely on you for my living and not on material things.
