TEXT:–  GEN. 3:18-24

         God has since the inception of creation desired a fellowship with man. He wants to continually relate and dialogue with him (man). The devil fought tooth and nail to sow the seed of disobedience.

After this relation was established (first with Adam and Even), both Adam and Eve gave in to the devil. Who could have thought of the massive effect of one disobedience. That singular act of flouting God’s order of “don’t eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Gen. 3:1b)”, brought a disaster to human race. But thanks be to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, whom by His Spirit empowered Our Lord Jesus to obey God’s instruction and so granting the human race an eternal salvation (those who have come to the knowledge of this grace). Curse, hardship, diseases, pains, death, etc are punishment of disobedience. May the Lord help us all to heed to God’s word and instructions at all times, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER: I am not disobedient. I live a life of Christ’s obedience before God now and always, in Jesus’ name.
