TEXT: ACTS 5:27-42

         “We must obey God rather than human beings!” That’s was the decision of the apostles. Every kingdom or rulership wants allegiance. Obedience is always enacted either by force or conviction. When it is by force then it is not true obedience. You are a subject/slave to what you obey. Since God has left man with a free will and what he want is that man obey him in all situations.

Other things (sin, self, Satan) may contend our allegiance to God but we must resolve by the help of God to obey Him not just above all but him alone.

PRAYER: Father, please help me to obey you in all situations, in Jesus’ name.
