TEXT: NEHEMIAH 2:6-10

A good farmer will always sit down at the beginning of the year and think of what to do before the rains start. Next he will look for seed, decide where he wants to plant the seed and clear the land. This is exactly what Nehemiah did before moving to Jerusalem for the task ahead of him. Some of the preparations he made are:

–     Seeing permission from the king

–     Collection of letters for the governors of Trans-Euphrates

–     Provision for the materials to be used in the most efficient way

As a were person, what are you doing with your boss in the place of your work? Learn lessons from Nehemiah’s attitude to the king he worked with.

You should not fail to plan except you plan to fail.
