TEXT: NEHEMIAH 2:1-4         

      Identifying is very important in all areas of life. These was a case of three people fighting one against two. The one was beaten to the extent that all his clothes were torn. He later went to invite the police. Before he returned his two assailant had mingle with the crowd. When the police officer came to the scene he asked the complainant if he could identify the people that beat him, but he couldn’t. The police officer asked if he could recognize the colour of their clothes he said “No” “How then do you want me to solve your problem? The police man asked.

In the case of Nehemiah the king quickly recognized that there was something going on because Nehemiah’s face showed it. As leaders we should be able to know the characteristics of our members or staff. Also Nehemiah was able to mention the problem facing him at that period. And because of this the king asked him what he wanted. Because he had already known what to do, he presented his request to the king, who gave him permission to go.

What is your problem? Tell it to god. Let your people know your problem so that you would be prayed for.
