TEXT:   2 CHRONICLES 15:1-12

The type of leadership a nation has will determine the goodness or evil there peace or war scarcity or abundance justice or injustice. The word of god came through prophet Azarah. The message of encouragement as the right time as king Asa was returning from victorious war he just had Asa and the people were given open encouragement that as long as they remained with God, God too would be with them but if they strayed away, he would forsake them they should also know that God would reward any good they did. This kind of encouragement was similar to Paul’s to the Corinthians (I Cor 15:58 and David’s to Solomon in I Chro 28:9)

King Asa took the message in good faith and did reforms which attracted the people of the northern kingdom. As king Asa and the people repented and decided for God. May God’s messages from various pulpits, tv radio and social media lead us to repentance in Nigeria.

PRAYER: God help us so that your messages will place in our heart and lead us to repentances
