TEXT:   I THESSALONIANS 3:4-13

What the Thessalonians needed when Paul sent Timothy there very important. The Thessalonians were directly converted to Christianity and were surviving the trials facing there but they still needed discipleship lobouring which would help them to more maturity in the faith. If we look at many churches today, discipleship training is lacking hence the failure to live new life in Christ as stated in 2 Cor 5:17. The carnality among the Christians is due to lack if discipleship training if not, how can the old lifestyle of fornication, adultery, drunkenness improper dressing, undecent languages pursuit like the Thessalonians who were faring wall still needed teaching, so it is with our Church today.

PRAYER:  Lord Jesus please stir your church to be aware and take action on what is seeking in the Christian life.
