TEXT:   JAMES 2:1-13

One of the sins that individual or church may be looking to as minor is favoritism ether known as discrimination. James wants his readers to know that favoritism as sinful as other sins like adultery or murder. To show favoritism toward the rich or highly placed people to the detriment of the poor or lowly placed ones is to undermine the poor and this is offensive. It is an insult on the dignity of the poor God does not see thing way people do. God see the poor as more responsive to him and nearer to Him than the rich.

We people of God should be careful on this matter because sometimes we benefits from favoritism and sometime we suffer from from it. It is only when we suffer from it then we condemn it. Favoritism appears in ever place in the hospitals, banks, and naming predictions others and so on. Let us be careful of sin of favoritism . God frowns it .

PRAYER: Pray to God to gave you courage to overcome the sin of favoritism
