TEXT:   PSALM 89:1-7

The covenant God made with David was not just a mere covenant, it is a covenant that comes to fulfillment.  This psalm was written to described the glorious reign of David.  God had promised and made a covenant to make David the mightiest king on earth and to keep his descendants on the throne forever.  In raising up David and his descendants to be king for his people, God has displayed his steadfast love and faithfulness. Whenever God make a covenant with you, be rest assure that He would fulfilled the covenant. Let us ask ourselves this simple question, Am I in the right position with God to make a covenant with me? All we need is grace (Karis) of God to be able to stand with God forever and not deny him no matter what, so that his covenant will be sure for us as of David the King.

PRAYER: Lord please make a covenant of mercy with me and keep me still in you till eternity in Jesus name.
