TEXT:- JOSH. 24:1-13

      God making a covenant with a man does not insulate him of troubles or battles, although God’s preservation is sure with the man. Such was the case of the Israelites. The promises and possessions were not without battles to be fought and won. God needed to remind them that it is Him who helped them in all these challenges. Recounting God’s blessings and all victories he grants will naturally ooze out praise from the heart of the grateful. When this is done, one can trust God even more. Joshua led the Israelites to recount God’s promises and help, and the outcome was a fresh consecration.

How often do you recount God’s blessings and help to you?

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your preservation and blessings. Please keep the cross of Christ ever before me, in Jesus’ name.
