TEXT:– II CHRONICLES 34:22-28
After the discovery of the Book of the Law in the Temple of the Lord during the days of King Josiah and having understood God’s Impending wrath on the people, a cry was made and God’s face was sought. Unlike terrible kings that reigned over Judah, Josiah was one of the few kings that followed God with his whole heart.
Verse 27 noted that his heart was responsive and repentant at the knowledge of the wrath of God that should come on the people. Though God will have to fulfill his word by pouring his wrath on his people, Josiah was spared. There is a heart God cannot resist; a heart that is humble and penitent; such that trembles at God’s word. Isaiah 66:2.
How do you react when you understand God’s anger on others?
PRAYER: Lord, please humble my heart and make it sensitive and responsive to you, in Jesus’ name
