TEXT: EXODUS 12:1-14
God promised to Passover the land of Egypt to work out the deliverance of his children from Egypt. He told them that for them to be spared from the plague of death, a lamb with no defect had to be killed and its blood placed on the door frame of each home. The lamb had to be killed in order to get the blood that would protect them. This foreshadowed the blood of Christ, the lamb of God, who gave his blood for the sins of all people. The promise of God for us is still intact today to Passover us as we are trusting him for our deliverance wherever we are passing through turbulent and difficult times.
PRAYER: Lord while you are passing, do not pass me bye, remember your promise of deliverance for me and my family in Jesus name! Amen
