TEXT:   EXODUS 6:2-9

Despite the fact that God promised the Israelites many good and especially to deliver them from the Egyptians, they would still not listened to Moses, they turned their deaf ears, they were too discouraged to listen.  They don’t want to hear any more about God and his promises because the last time they listened to Moses, all they got was more work and greater suffering.  We must learn a big lesson from our text today, sometimes a clear message from God is followed by a period when no change in the situation is apparent.  During that time, seeming setbacks may turn people away from wanting to her more about God.  If you are a leader as Moses, don’t give up, focus on God, obey Him and the results will be achieved.

PRAYER: Endow me Lord with listening ears and to be obedient when you speak
