>ROMANS 5:1-5
One thing is certain and sure, we can not do without suffering as Christian. To rejoice in the glory of God is easy; to rejoice in our sufferings is not easy! However, we as Christians rejoice in suffering and hardship because we know that such suffering is ultimately for our own good (Rom. 8:28). Notice also that Paul said we rejoice in our sufferings, not in spite of them. The suffering that will come to us should not be as account of sin but on account of righteousness. In our suffering, we need to be patient, persevere, endure, hope and stand firm in the faith. When you rejoice in your suffering, you shame the devil and become an overcomer. Don’t let the devil win the battle, never compromise in your suffering.
The suffering that will come to us should not be as account of sin but on account of righteousness.
PRAYER: My Lord and my God grant me enough strength to rejoice in my suffering in Jesus’ name.
