JOHN 14:18-24
The love of God to mankind is an unconditional love (John 3:16). Even when we were still sinners, God loves us (Rom. 5:8). However, after we have received God’s love, we must love him in return. The more our love flows out to others and God, the more his love will flow into us. Love gives birth to love, every believer should know that it is the love of Christ that binds us together to make us. As this love binds us together, love for Jesus and obedience to his teachings must go together, if there is no love, there will be no obedience. To disobey Christ’s word by not loving is disobey God, because the words of Christ are really the word of God. If not for God’s love that binds us together, Christianity would have become a thing of the past in Nigeria.

The more our love flows out to others and God, the more his love will flow into us. Love gives birth to love, every believer should know that it is the love of Christ that binds us together to make us.

PRAYER: Bind us together with your knot of love as believers in Jesus name.
