JOHN 14:15-17
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth Christ is the truth; therefore, his spirit must be the spirit of truth. the spirit guides believers into all truth (John 16:13). This Spirit of truth only dwells in the lives of those who believes in Christ Jesus. The Spirit lives not only with the believer, but also in the believer. This spirit of truth which is also referred to as the Comforter, Counselor or Encourager is the Spirit of Christ which teaches us, reminds us of Jesus’ words, convinces us of sin, shows us God’s righteousness and announces God’s judgment of evil, he guides us into truth and gives insight into the future events and bring glory to Christ.
The Spirit lives not only with the believer, but also in the believer.
PRAYER: Lord, may your Spirit of truth never depart from my life in Jesus name.
