PROVERBS 3:13-18
One of the precious gifts from God to man is wisdom which is the source of life. Anyone who finds wisdom is blessed the book of Proverbs contains many strong statements about the benefits of wisdom, including long-life, wealth, honour and peace. In a perfect world, wise behavior would always lead to these benefits. Even in our troubled world, living wisely usually results in obvious blessings – but not always. Sometimes sin intervenes and some blessings must be delayed until Jesus returns to establish his eternal kingdom. That is why we must live by believing and not by seeing. We can be sure that wisdom which is the source of life ultimately leads to blessing, for wisdom is the principal thing. Jesus is the source of wisdom therefore for whoever will make heaven, as wisdom is more profitable here on earth and in heaven, must have Jesus Christ. James 3:13-17.
