TEXT: PSALM 103:3 – 18

It is very important to think and reflect on the love and goodness of God. It is this reflection that made David recognized the depth of the love of God which existed in the beginning of times and continues throughout generations. In short, it is everlasting. In our passage we see the various expressions of God’s everlasting love. It is because He loves us that He forgives sins, heals the spirit, soul and body; grants salvation, provides for our needs; defends our cause; etc. When we recognize that we are mere dust yet we enjoy these benefits, then we will appreciate the need to respond to God’s love in worship and obedience. It is a personal decision. The spirit is lifted when you remember and praise God for past favours and blessings. How are you responding to God’s love?

PRAYER: Eternal Father, help me to constantly appreciate your love and so yield my life to your worship, service and praise.
