TEXT:   JOHN 20:1-16

The fore telling and actual resurrection of Jesus was incredible to many of Jesus publics even to many of who had been close to him for over three years. The various attitudes towards his resurrection will be seen starting from this lesson and some subsequent ones this week.

Mary Magdalene’s early arrival at the sepulcher perhaps as early as 5am or there about resembles that of king Darius who had sleepless night, worried by Daniel’s condition in the lion’s den.  Much concern and sincere love for Christ motivated Mary.  Even when the disciples had gone she remained there till the angels appeared to her and eventually Jesus. Though lack of faith made her not to recognize Jesus on time yet she had two intentions. One, to make another arrangement for Jesus burial, so that the Jews would not mishandled the corpse and secondly to embalm it. How well do we love Jesus? How much are concerned for him in comparison with Mary who never forget how Jesus had been a blessing to her?
