TEXT:   PROVERBS 3:13-26

The word of God has been fully qualified as wisdom in this passage. In verse 13 we see the finding of the word of God as finding both happiness – external feeling and joy which is within. Verses 14-15 the word of God is seen as more valuable than material possessions which makes it worthy to be devoted time for. Verses 16-18 display word of God called wisdom as the one that can draw other human desires such as riches, honour, peace and pleasure but in positive ways. We can see this in many true ministers of God more materially blessed than those with secular appointments. The Bible is regarded as the key to tree of life in verse 18; verses 19-20 wisdom (word of God) was used to establish heaven and earth. Verse 21-26 tells us the other benefits of sticking to the word of God – satisfaction for soul, security, wellbeing, rest of mind, guide.  We should all henceforth believe the Bible to be safe, practice it to be holy and read it to be wise.

PRAYER: Father, make me thirsty, for wisdom which is your word always.
