TEXT: LUKE 16:11-15
As one reads the history of Christianity in Europe, the name Lydia being one of the earliest converts will be mentioned. Lydia’s household was also led to Christ and got baptized. Her spirit of generosity and hospitality were carried to her new faith. Her house became the cradle of church in Europe. Lydia joined faith with work as James admonished the Christians. We have a good example from a woman that we should copy her generosity and hospitality which promoted Christianity.
PRAYER: God, help me to be able to combine faith with work in my Christian life.
