TEXT:   ROMANS 12:9-21

One of my conviction that Saul (Paul), having witness the death of Stephen coupled with the proclamation of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross concerning their enemies prompted Apostle Paul to admonish the Roman believers in our bible passage for today. To bless those who persecute us, repay no one evil for evil, live peaceably with all men and feed a hungry known enemy, are virtues which can only be endowed on an individual divinely. When believers are able to live by these virtues them God’s assurance in verse 19 to take vengeance for His children will come to pass and living in peace of heart to serve him better will be gained.

As children of God, we should pray fervently for the release of three virtues so that we can influence the world positively for God.

PRAYER: God, empower me with the virtues to love, pray and care for my enemies in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
