TEXT: EXODUS 32: 11- 13, 31 – 35
Moses besought the LORD his God on behalf of the Children of Israelites, he remembered the covenant that God had with his fathers: Abraham, Isaac and Israel. In verse 31, Moses told God exactly what they have done, he did not hide anything from the LORD. “Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made the gods of gold.” And he stood that God should forgive them or else blot his name out of His book if God will not forgive the people. Moses was more concern about the people than himself. He stood in the gap for God to forgive them. Their need of salvation was more important at the present time than a personal gratification in the future, for Moses he was dissatisfied for God’s blessing to simply revolve round him and his existence he was ready to pray others in even if it meant the survival of only two men and a new generation, but see what the true burden of the Lord is paramount and never to lose sight of my duty and call.
PRAYERS: Lord, help me to be delivered from personal convenience help me to bombard the gate of heaven for the souls of men let my life cease to revolve only around me
