TEXT: – NEHEMIAH 1:5-11

      A born again Christian should know where to go when he has a problem Nehemiah knew where to go. He went straight to God. He first of all confessed the sins of their fore fathers and his own sins he did not exempt himself. Most of the time we only blame our leaders or attribute the problem we are facing to our fathers forgetting that what we are doing is worse than what our fathers or past leaders did.

He did not only confess their sins but he remember God of His promise concerning their fathers that, even after they had been scattered. He (God) would bring them back.

What are you now facing as an individual or group or as a church which is as a result of the sins of your past leader or parent? What of you, are you holy and can be found blameless? Matt 7:1-2.  Don’t blame them. Present the case to God almighty and see what He will do.

PRAYER: Christ forgive my sins and the sins of my fathers and restore us to our heritage.
