TEXT:   2 CHRONICLES 19:1-7

Every leader has to judge and settle issues ones while in the course of his duty. Leaders are God representatives. In our lesson of taken, Jehoshaphat acted concreting to the meaning of his name “The Lord judges”  Jehoshaphat appointed judges in all the main towns of the kingdom and an appeal court in Jerusalem using Levites, precepts andheads of families. He told the appointed judges emphatically they were to deliver the judgement not in the name of the king or kingdom but “in god’s name” and so they should do their talk in the fear of the Lord. They should avoid corruption and partiality as well as evils is not in god’s character,

Today too, individuals and church should see themselves as working on the Lord’s behalf. Today this, we need Holy spirit and word of God as our guide.

Remember to go with your writing materials, Bible your faith and a contrite heart that will serve as a good soil where the word of God will stay to germinate and grow.

PRAYER:            God give us courage to see ourselves as acting always on your behalf
