TEXT: I SAMUEL 2:1-10
Hannah praised God for his answer to her prayer for a son. She had confidence in God’s sovereignty and she was thankful for everything God had done in her life. After several years of barrenness, God gave Hannah a promised son. No matter the delay you are experiencing now, don’t lose hope for that delay is temporal and not permanent. Do not forget that “delay is not denial” just keep praying, praising and trusting in God and she was able to sing praises unto God without hesitating. Three good lessons we can learn from Hannah (1) God hears and answers prayer (2) Our children are gifts from God (3) God is concerned for the oppressed and afflicted with these she had reasons to praise and exalt God with all her heart. You too can also sign a new song if you can exercise a little patience in that your condition.
