LUKE 5:19-24
The unity and closeness between God and Jesus comes from God’s love for Jesus, that is why God shows Jesus what he does. Jesus told the Jews that he would still do greater things than they had already seen because God will show him (Jesus) even greater things than this. These greater things are Jesus’ work of giving life and judgment. The life that Jesus gives is spiritual life, eternal life. We only receive this life through the grace and love of the father and the son. Faith in Christ comes from the recognition that Christ is sent from God, that He is One with God. Believe in Jesus now before it is too late. Do you believe his greater works? If you do, there is no doubt about it that he does whatever his father does.
