TEXT: JOHN 6:16 – 21
No matter how much of a hurry we find ourselves, it is important to always ‘go with the anointing’. The disciples were embarking on a journey and having waited in vain for the Lord to come, they started the journey without him. You can only imagine the fear they felt when they saw him walking on the sea when they were 3 – 4 miles from the shore. However, the response of Jesus to the state of their minds was instructive. It was one of reassurance, ‘Do not be afraid’. Hence we realize that no matter the circumstance we may be passing through, we should always remember the calm reassurance of the master, ‘Do not be afraid’.
PRAYER: Lord, may I always look unto you in any trouble I find myself.
