TEXT:  JOHN 8: 48 – 59

In Economics class, there is what is called opportunity cost. This opportunity cost shows that nothing goes for free. When there is no pain, there is no gain. Freedom itself is not free. The promise of Jesus on freedom is to tell us that no other freedom is indeed freedom but that freedom which is from Christ is the perfect, a lasting and ever sure freedom. Promising this freedom is to let people know and serve God better. Some are worshipping in dark, ignorant and with human compulsion. But this promised freedom is from Christ. It is a freedom indeed.

PRAYER: Lord, give me true freedom that will make me know that it is only you that I must serve/worship.
