TEXT:  MATTHEW 11:2-6

The article “The” is the emphasis of the matter. There was a popular man in the city of Lagos referred to as “Jesus of Oyingbo”. There could be other ones in other places but the emphasis remains, Christ. Christ means anointed one, the very Jesus of Nazareth. The work Jesus did make Him the Christ. John the Baptist confessed that, he (John) was not the Christ. Though he might have been doing powerful things in the name of Christ, yet he was not the Christ. Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, no controversy.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, come and be the Lord of my life.
